Vegetable mixes: wok, soup and stew blends to your recipe

Vegetable mixes are fresh-cut blends: several vegetables, cut ready for the kitchen and combined to a recipe. Convenience GmbH supplies wok vegetables as well as soup and stew mixes to restaurant chains and large-scale caterers – as a standard mix or made exactly to your own recipe, in packs of 0.5 to 3 kg.

One mix, one step

For a wok dish or a stew, kitchens often prepare four, five or more vegetables separately. With a ready-made vegetable mix, this becomes a single step: open the pack, dose, cook. Because the ingredients, cut size and blend ratio are defined, the dish turns out the same on every shift and at every site – no matter who is at the stove.

This is a particular advantage in restaurant chains with standardised recipes. Cooking times stay constant because all pieces are cut to the same size, and the cost of goods per portion can be calculated precisely.

Standard mixes or your own recipe

Our wok vegetable mix contains carrots, leek and bean sprouts, among other things; the soup and stew mix contains carrots, leek and celeriac. Both mixes can be adapted. If you need your own blend, we put your recipe into practice – you decide the ingredients, cut size, blend ratio and pack size. The standard pack size is 0.5 to 3 kg; other sizes are available on request.

Convenience GmbH is certified to IFS Broker 3.2 (higher level, 97.4 %) and delivers vegetable mixes cold-chain compliant, next-day and up to five times a week to all 16 German federal states. The wok vegetable mix and the soup mix are also part of our regional range regiofresh: regionally sourced and freshly cut every day.
